Project Summary:

The Town of Yountville constructed a Class I bike path along northbound highway 29 in Napa County, connecting Madison Street at the north with California Drive at the south. The Class I path provides bike riders a safe route that bypasses the heart of town.  This project is the first segment of the Napa Valley Vine Trail and its funding was made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

Services Provided:

On this project I served as the owner’s representative for the Town of Yountville while employed by Pound Management, Inc..  The scope of services I assisted the Town with included: working with their consulting civil engineer to determine the final path alignment, coordinating the necessary environmental studies and assisting the Town staff, as well as other supporting agencies, in securing the federal funding needed for the project.
